Dancing on Fire Tears of Chios at his first show
Chios made his debut at his first ever show in Greece this weekend. He was BOS both days and became Greek JuniorCh straight away. Her owner Aggeliki Maladi showed several dogs and collected many titles with them. Big congratulations for all the successes and thank you for the opportunity to see Chios at a show!
AWC and EO Tryouts, 2nd round
The 2nd round of the tryouts round has also been completed. Our feelings are mixed as the dogs again exceeded our expectations, but in the last run Gergő break his Achilles tendon, so unfortunately he has a very long rehabilitation period ahead of him.
This weekend we had the opportunity to run on fantastic courses, we had the chance to challenge our own and our dogs’ skills, thanks to the judges! This time I am posting the same jumping race from day 4, performed by Dance and Nova, on this course they ran the same time for a hundredth 🙂
We collected several podium finishes during the whole qualification series, and finally the following result was achieved, based on the points system:
Dance qualified for the EO and the AWC in team, Nova qualified for the EO and she is the reserve for the AWC team. Unfortunately, Gergő and Dance will not be able to participate in the EO due to injury, but we will do everything we can to rehabilitate him in order to qualify for the World Championships.
Bing Agility Cup
Last weeken Nova and Dance competed on Bing Agility Cup.
Nova: 2X A3 1st place
Dance: 1XA3 2nd place.
AWC and EO tryouts, 1st round
We had mixed feelings about the Tryouts, but our doggies 100% exceeded all our non-existent expectations! Dance had just started dompeting with minimal training since the litter, but we were not happy with his movement. We alternated periods of rest and 1-1 training before it became certain that a muscle in his shoulder was the problem. 4 months of rest and physio awaited her and we were very calculated to only be ready with a safe recovery, with only 1 training session at 40cm and 3 sessions on full track. Nova although fantastic and definitely has the potential to make national team, I’m not too motivated about it. However, in the first run showed what he is made of: he had the fastest clear run in all size categories, and gave for all competitors the time for the individual World Championship points. They both did a fantastic job all weekend, we are extremely proud of them. We managed to score some points, but after the first round it’s pointless to analyse who is where… 🙂
Thank you to the fantastic team at Ebfizio for getting us to the Tryouts, we couldn’t have done it without them!
Here you can see a video from each of the Dance and Nova runs.
Thanks again to János Balogh for the pictures of the race!
Republic Cup 2022
In this year’s Republic Cup Fox competed, Nova and Dance participated as visitor only. But Foxy finished 3rd in the open agility with a beautiful run and 1 bar, congratulations!
TordasZoo Cup
Both Marvel boys competed in the first competition of the year.
Nova only ran the open jumping (we are still practice his competition-see-saw…), where he struggled very hard with the sand, but just managed to slip into first place.
Foxy won her A2 with a beautiful clear run.
Bing Cup
Last weekend the Marvel boys were on the podium again
Fox: A2 1st place, J2 1st place

Fox in Kraft exam
Last weekend, Fox took part in an exam at Kraft.
They ran three A1 courses, won all three with clean run, and collected his last missing exam with the second run (video here), so they will be competing in A2 next time.
Hearty congratulations, Zsolti and Fox!
ReBorn to Run Again
This weekend we were at the 3-day ReBorn to Run Again race. We were able to compete with a lot of and highly qualified competitors.
It was Nova’s first real runs in A3, and with that came the time to improve her see-saw, so he only compete in the jumping runs, anyway we worked on see-saw. Day 2 he came 2nd in J3, Day 3 in J3.
Dance was very balanced and really maximalist throughout the weekend, with several 4th and 5th places, 3rd in A3 on day 3 and 2nd overall for the weekend.
